Leaf Face Scrubbie Crochet Pattern

These scrubbies crochet up quickly and they make great gifts.  Pair them with some fancy facial cleanser or handmade soap for a last-minute present!

Perfect for cleansing the face or removing make up without the hassle of a full-sized wash cloth, they are soft on skin, but textured enough to get the job done.  They are eco-friendly, too! Reuse them again and again – cotton is machine washable and dryer safe.

The scrubbies pictured are done in green, but you could easily do these in fall colors as well!  Crochet them in blue and they’re raindrops instead!

Materials

*  Size G/4mm hook
*  Cotton yarn (a very small amount will do.  This is a great stash buster)
*  Needle for weaving in loose ends

Pattern
It’s short and sweet, but I’ve added lots of pictures to help avoid confusion.

Ch 8.
Trc into the 4th stitch from the hook 10 times.  You should have 4 stitches to the left.

For the next 4 stitches on the left, crochet into the part of the stitch running up the back of the chain (see photo below).  In those four stitches: dc, hdc, sc, ss.

Turn the piece.  Going back toward the 10 trcs you started with, ss, sc, hdc, dc into the back half of the 4 stitches.

Join the round and weave in loose ends.
