Needles: Size 8 dpn
Yarn: Worsted weight
Knitting the Body
CO 32 stitches.
Join and mark beginning of round.
Round 1: *K2, P2. Repeat from * until the end of the round
Rounds 2-15: Repeat round 1.
Round 16: Knit.
Knit until the piece measures 5 inches.
Mark thumb hole: At the beginning of the next round, K7 with contrasting scrap yarn and then transfer those stitches back to the left needle.
With main color again, knit until the piece measures 6.5 inches.
*K2, P2. Repeat from * until the end of the round.
Repeat this round 3 more times.
Bind off in rib pattern.
Knitting the Thumbhole
At contrasting stitches, use double‐pointed needles to pick up 7 stitches on the bottom and 6 on the top.
Carefully remove contrasting yarn.
Pick up two stitches on each side of thumbhole.
Knit 4 rounds in stockinette stitch and then bind off.
Weave in loose ends to finish.

I love fingerless gloves. I use them when driving on those 40 degree days that the steering wheel is c-o-l-d! This is an easy enough pattern to make a set in every color! I like mine a half-inch longer in the hand.
